"Lighthouse Amateur Radio Alliance"

 

The Lighthouse Amateur Radio Alliance, Inc. is an ARRL Affiliated Club. Chartered as a not for profit Florida Corporation.  It was founded in late 2007 with the intent of serving the Palm Beach and Martin county area. We are based in Jupiter, and our club call is K4LM

Definition of alliance, Webster's dictionary -
an association to further the common interests of the members

Our purpose is to bring together an alliance of amateurs to further the exchange of information and cooperation between our members and to promote and improve the ham radio experience. We shall encourage fraternalism and individual operating efficiency,  conduct club programs and activities so as to advance the general interest and welfare of Amateur Radio in the community. We shall serve the community with regular and emergency communications

We formed our organization in November of 2007, with a core group of experienced amateurs living in the area.  We seek hams who are interested in personal growth and expansion of the enjoyment of the hobby.  We welcome visitors to our monthly meetings that are held the third Thursday of each month.  See location and schedule below.
